Burg - National Trust for Scotland
Burg is an amazing place to visit on the Isle of Mull. It can only be reached on foot but it’s worth the walk. There is a variety of wildlife to spot (if you are lucky) such as golden eagles, feral goats, red deer and otters.
Other wonders include MacCulloch’s fossil tree – an imprint of a tree trunk left in the cliffs around 50 million years ago.
To access the beach it’s necessary to climb down an iron ladder on the side of the cliff. Imerse yourself in nature and wildlife away from the busyness of modern life. Visit the National Trust for Scotland website for all the information
