Garscadden Wood is a local Nature Reserve, it’s one of the oldest semi-natural woods in Glasgow, and one of only two woods in the city where you can find the purple hairstreak butterfly. Locally it’s known as Bluebell Wood and if you visit in early summer the carpet of flowers is a beautiful sight. For more details visit the website
